COLORADO SPRING THUNDER - OUT IN THE COMMUNITY

Roadside litter costs millions of dollars annually to control. Often, it is impossible to keep up with the trash that thoughtless people have dumped on us. The state and our community need our help! 

The Thunder organization has joined the thousands of other volunteers who help keep Colorado beautiful by agreeing to pick up litter along Powers Blvd, from mile marker 151 to mile marker 153.  Essentially from Briargate Parkway to Old Ranch Road.

CDOT will provide a sign crediting the group for volunteering on our adopted section of Powers Blvd.

Our sign will read: Members of the Thunder Fastpitch Softball Club

Teams will be assigned a specific month for when they will be responsible for cleaning up the highway.  Adults/Coaches will be supervising the clean up activity.
